At McCorkell & Associates the role of an Account Director has two key focuses. The first is to generate Profitable Business Opportunities; the second is to act as the Key Interface between the Client and the Company. You may also be required to manage other campaigns, for example digital, telemarketing, events and creative design.
As the key interface between Client and Company, you will be responsible for working proactively with clients, liaising hourly where required with Marketing Managers on the progress of campaigns. We further anticipate that you are capable to design your own lead generation initiatives and take these to market to foster new business for McCorkell & Associates.
It is your responsibility to assign tasks and work with the Campaign Coordinators to ensure Campaigns are on target. The Campaign Coordinators’ role thus becomes reporting to you, the Account Director who will take the high-road as far as performance and deliverables are concerned and ensure that the client is kept abreast of the campaign.
This interface allows the work to be completed, whilst keeping across every component of the projects. It also allows you to be further engaged with the ongoing process of securing additional business and broadening your stable of clients.
It is perceived that each Account Director can manage approximately 3-6 larger clients in this manner, dependant on scope or work/size of client.
You are responsible for working within a team capacity and liaising directly with clients, set up and attend meetings, conference calls and travel where required. You are responsible for training junior campaign coordinators and have them answer to you.
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant agency experience
- Business development experience (5+ years) within the B2B marketing services industry
- Must be a Singapore local or have experience in the Singapore market for 5+ years
- Strong background working on end-end projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to work autonomously.
